Luke Pollard MP visits PCH’s Bath Street regeneration scheme
Luke Pollard MP has visited Plymouth Community Homes’ major Bath Street regeneration scheme to see first-hand the progress being made on new social housing in the heart of Plymouth.
The MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport and Minister of State for Defence Readiness and Industry toured the site with PCH Chief Executive Jonathan Cowie, Executive Director of Place Chris Brook and Paul Glenister from contractor Classic Builders, hearing more about the development and progress so far.
Bath Street is transforming a prominent brownfield site between Plymouth city centre and Millbay into a new sustainable neighbourhood. The first phase will deliver 80 new homes for social rent, including larger family homes, alongside commercial space and new public areas.

The wider regeneration will help bring much-needed affordable housing to the city centre and forms part of efforts to reconnect Millbay with the heart of Plymouth.
The scheme is being delivered by PCH with support from Homes England and Plymouth City Council, with the partnership helping to unlock the complex brownfield site and enable new social rented homes to be built.
The visit gave PCH the opportunity to update Luke Pollard on progress and discuss the role of investment and partnership working in delivering more affordable housing for Plymouth.
