Alliance and builder Keepmoat ‘partner up’ to deliver 125 new affordable homes
Alliance Homes announced today that they’ve entered a partnership with home builder Keepmoat to deliver 125 new affordable homes on the Parklands Village development in Weston-super-Mare.
The deal, builds on Alliance’s strategic relationship with North Somerset Council, will see a total of 425 new homes built on the site. Alliance will bring forward 125 homes, of which, 89 will be for social rent and 36 will be sold through Shared Ownership.
The new homes on site will be a mix of one and two bedroom apartments and two to four bed houses. Twelve of the properties will be wheelchair friendly to meet a range of local housing needs.
As part of Alliance’s strategic aim of being a green and ethical business, all new homes will be built to Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) A standard. This will include a range environmentally sensitive specifications such as air source heat pumps, solar panels, increased levels of insulation and electric car charging points.
